Who is Juha
My name is Juha Toivanen born in Ruokolahti (in eastern part of Finland) 1960.
Studied in Oulu and Raahe, graduated from Raahe Institute of Computer Engineering -84.
Moved to Salo and started working for Salora -86 in TV-development as software designer.
Company name has changed many time during the years (several names under Nokia, then Semitech, Otrum, Turun TV-tehdas) and latest Finlux.
Factory moved also during Nokia time from Salo to Turku.
I have been working all the time in software development for TV-sets, last years as senior software designer specialised for DVB.
I did loose my job when Finlux fell to bankrupt 20.09.2005. The story of the last TV-factory in Scandinavia ended.
Since 19.06.2006 I have been working ones again for Nokia, first making SW for S40/S60-series mobile phones and since November 2011 for Windows phones here in Salo.

I am married with Sari and have twin daughters, Emilia and Roosa, here in June 2012.
