Ericsson pulpit wall telephone, serial number 52319 from 1893, model from 1888.
This phone has Ericsson's first coal grain microphone with steel membrane.
The battery cover has the Norway-Sweden union logo, so the phone has been used by Telegrafverket, the Swedish state telephone company.
Similarly with the ringer cover, it is not brand marked Ericsson, but Rikstelefon which is the brand mark of Telegrafverket.
The label inside shows that it was checked by Telegrafverket on 3.9.1906.
The label says that it is type "Evm", but this should read "Evh" according to the catalog "Kgl. Telegrafverkets apparater 1906".
